Sortert etter hva delen skal gjøre — bære, kapsle, sammenføye eller synes. Det er slik en konstruktør tenker om komponenten sin.

Brackets and load-bearing parts

Parts that transfer force. The centre of gravity in our portfolio: brackets for mobility aids, garden equipment, marine and vehicles. Here strength, freedom from porosity and hole position decide — not the surface.

4 produkteksempler

Housings and covers

Parts that surround and protect something. Electronics housings, loudspeaker enclosures, covers and casings. Here thin even wall, dimensional accuracy and flat sealing faces decide.

Fittings and threaded parts

Parts whose entire purpose is to connect two other parts. The value sits in the interfaces — the threads, the holes, the seating faces. That is why they are cast and machined under one roof.

2 produkteksempler

Visible parts

Parts the end user actually sees. Appearance then becomes a specification on a par with the dimensions: no parting line or ejector marks on exposed faces, an even surface, the correct colour.

Components by function

We do not sell castings. We sell a part that does a job.

As a metal components supplier in Norway we sort by function, not by product. Four functions cover what we make: bearing, enclosing, joining and visible parts. Pick the function closest to yours and you will find the requirements that actually decide the method.

Four functions

Every part we make does one of four things. The requirements, the method and the price follow from which one.

When casting is the wrong method

Casting does not compete against other foundries. It competes against the other ways your part can be made. We will tell you when one of them is better:

  • Bent sheet metal wins when the bracket is flat or simply bent and the volume is low. Almost no tooling cost.
  • CNC from solid billet wins below a few hundred parts, or when the geometry is simple and you want to avoid a tooling investment entirely.
  • Injection moulded reinforced plastic wins at high volume when load, heat, UV and fire are not critical.
  • Metal 3D printing wins for prototypes and the very smallest series — and loses quickly once the series passes a few dozen parts.
  • Imported castings win on large standardised volumes where lead time does not matter.

Our window is the part that is too complex for sheet, too large for MIM, too high in volume for machining from billet, and too urgent or too small for import. It is a real window, but a narrow one — and we say so when you are outside it.

Parts we have made

All examples are anonymised. The customer design belongs to the customer.

Zinc bracket threaded under the same roof
Sink

Zinc bracket threaded under the same roof

A zinc die cast bracket, threaded and finished here so the customer can take it straight into assembly. The part never leaves the building between casting and completion.

Gravity die cast bracket, heat treated
Aluminium

Gravity die cast bracket, heat treated

A load-bearing bracket where the strength requirement exceeded what high pressure die casting can deliver. The part is gravity cast precisely because it will be heat treated afterwards — the method follows the function, not machine availability.

Zinc loudspeaker housing
Sink

Electronics and audio

Zinc loudspeaker housing

An enclosing part for audio equipment, die cast in zinc. Here weight is not a compromise — it is the function. A heavy housing damps unwanted vibration, and zinc is the heavier metal.
