This page is written for the buyer filling in a supplier questionnaire. It states what is documented today and what is not — because it is faster for you to read it here than to discover it in a supplier audit.

We hold no ISO certification today. Not ISO 9001, not ISO 14001, not IATF 16949. That is a real limitation: it closes certain doors at larger industrial customers and in public procurement, and we would rather say so than let you find out for yourself.

What we do have is eighty years of casting and thirty of machining, and a portfolio of parts that have run in series for years at customers who still order. Our longest customer relationship has run for more than ten years.

We have also published a code of conduct with requirements on our own suppliers, including a prohibition on child labour with reference to ILO guidelines, zero tolerance for harassment and coercion, and anti-corruption provisions. We are not covered by the Norwegian Transparency Act — we fall below all three thresholds — but we publish the requirements anyway, because customers who are covered need documentation down the supply chain.

What you can ask for instead of a certificate: come and see the production. The invitation is real and it stands — you will see the machines, the people and the parts that run in series today. It is a weaker guarantee than a certificate on paper, and a stronger one than most people expect, because you see the process itself rather than a description of it.

Most supplier questionnaires ask for the same things: a quality system, traceability, a measurement report, non-conformance handling and a code of conduct. Send the questionnaire and we will fill it in with what we actually have, leaving the boxes we cannot answer empty rather than dressing them up. If you require a formal supplier audit, ask — you will get a concrete answer on whether we can host one, and when.
